Dave Chun, M.S.
For nearly three decades, Dave Chun has been one of Baltimore's most trusted names in fitness, strength, and conditioning.
He began his career as a performance coach at Cal Ripken Acceleration and as a PT tech at Kassimir Physical Therapy. These early clinical experiences continued to influence his approach to body mechanics, movement, and injury prevention during his time at LifeBridge Health and Fitness, where he worked as a personal trainer, fitness supervisor, and staff instructor.
In 2006, Dave founded his own private training business, which he continues to own and operate today, working with a range of clients from high-end professionals to competitive student-athletes building the strength and durability to compete at the next level. He has also trained professional athletes competing in football and squash.
A lifelong learner, Dave is committed to staying at the forefront of his field and earned a Master's degree in Exercise Science from McDaniel College. When he’s not in the gym, you’ll often find him reading, listening to an ebook, or writing for his own training blog, where he explores topics like mobility, recovery, movement mechanics, and performance nutrition.
When it comes to fitness, Dave is constantly evolving, treating his own training and nutrition as an ongoing experiment, testing new methods on himself for years before incorporating them into his official training methodology.
But, what truly makes the difference is his genuine care for the well-being of his clients. For him, strong relationships are essential to an effective strength and conditioning regimen—and that’s what’s kept his clients coming back, year after year.
Founder and Principal “I’m a passionate believer in lifelong fitness and believe that physical literacy is the foundation for overall wellbeing.”
